We had a lovely day in Room 9 celebrating World Book Day last Thursday. We had professors, pirates, archers, Matlida, characters from Dork Diaries and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. We joined Junior Infants in the GP Room, listening to their stories about their favourite characters and reading them a book. A huge thanks to Mrs. McDonnell for providing every child in the school with a special World Book Day treat...a book from her own home! Lets try and keep up our promise to try and read for at least 5 minutes a day📚.
