The Weekly Roundup with Ben and Katie
This week in Maths we were learning about lines and angles and learned how to use a protractor and we also learned how to draw angles. At first I thought it was hard and I was going to get frustrated but then I remembered to stay positive.... more about that later! Did you know that a right angle is 90 degrees and a straight angle is 180!

English: We were doing a short story called The Changed World of Matt, it was about a boy named Matt who all of a sudden was 4 years older and his siblings 4 years younger. It was a extract from the book Goosebumps-the Flashing Special, you will have to read it to know the rest! But what would you do if you woke up 4 years older? I would hate it just kidding I WOULD LOVE IT!!!!!!
History: We were leaning about The Aztecs , they were a Mexican tribe and they were very religious. Quick fact: They played a game called Ullamalictli with a rubber ball. It was very precious to them, did you know that their names are very hard to say, try say this name..... Huitzilopochtli!
S.P.H.E : In S.P.H.E. we did Family Crest's , you had to draw things that represent your Family. We were also learning how to be positive that’s why there's a new student in our class named Positive Peppa if she gets 5 dojo points we get a bit off homework HORRAY!
P.E. In P.E. this week we played Football Rounders, it was great fun and I really enjoyed it.
News : The big news week was that it was Maths Week, we did lots of fun activities, we did a Zoom Quiz with 546 other classes around Ireland! We took part in a Table Quiz with 6th Class and we had a problem of the day each day. Also, Mr Dillon came into our class to show us some Maths tricks, he bamboozled us with his Maths wizardry! This week we also started The Mini Sevens Gaelic training. That’s it from 5th Class...Slán leat agus go raibh maith agat!
