We had a very special morning here in Ballisodare, with European Silver Medalist Lauren Cadden raising our Active School Flag.
Lauren has had an extremely busy few weeks so we were grateful to her for giving up her time to celebrate her success with us.
Her message to all the pupils is to stay active, even when you feel like giving up, or when your friends might give up - Stick with it!
The weather was kind to us also, it was wonderful to see the flag raised with a backdrop of a blue sky.
Sincere thanks to the Active School Committee also, and well done to Leah who spoke on their behalf.
