Rang a Sé had a busy morning today preparing their mixture for some yummy pancakes at breaktime. The children worked in groups, bringing in the ingredients and equipment needed to make these traditional treats. After they prepared their mixture in the classroom, it was off to the staffroom to actually fry them up. The children showed some excellent pancake flipping skills and thankfully not even one pancake landed on the ground.
Back in Room 9 the children added their favourite topping to their pancake and learned a little bit more about Pancake/ Shove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday and Lent.
