Congratulations to sixth class, they have been awarded Merit Awards in the following categories- Change Agents, Finance Wizards and Go Green for their JEP project 'Super Books'. The children worked extremely hard to make this business a success. Showcase Day was a fabulous day with the children selling over 200 copies of their book. Each child in the school was invited to the GP Room along with their teacher to the launch of the book. The sixth class children had prepared a slideshow outlining their Junior Entrepreneur story to date, they shared this with each class and prepared treats that were given out to each child as a thank you for their support. Once Showcase Day was over sixth class were then busy putting the finishing touches to their folder that was submitted to JEP headquarters to be examined and marked. Each child made a whopping €35 profit from their business, €10 of this to put towards the cost of their end of year hoodie. Well done again Sixth Class and best of luck next year as you continue your education journey.
