Our new School Garden
The Green Schools Committee has been busy communicating to their classmates about the new school garden. Have a look at the design below, we think you’ll agree, it will look just great!
Well done committee – keep up the great work!
Work on the new School Garden
Work has begun on the planting for our new school garden. The children from 5th class have been hard at work preparing and planting the beds for fruit trees, carrots, pumpkins, broccoli, cauliflower and herbs – our own kitchen garden!
On Tuesday 21st April 2015, members of our Green Schools Committee, together with Ms McDonnell and Ms. McDaniel performed a Walkability Audit.
Following the Green Schools Committee’s research on walkability to school, a complete Walkability Audit has been put together. Please click on the link below to have a read through it – we’re sure you’ll find it most interesting. Our thanks to Lisa McDaniel for her support in this venture.
